Sean Heberling, CFA

Chief Executive Officer

Philadelphia, PA

As Founder and CEO of Marion Street Capital (MSC), Sean leads an experienced, creative, and dedicated team of financial professionals to help clients solve their most pressing business challenges.

With 20 years of deep and diverse business experience, Sean lends his unique blend of entrepreneurial talent and seasoned analytical expertise to guide each project to meet client objectives and achieve maximum results. In addition to his role at MSC, Sean also works as a General Partner, Addvia Ventures.

Prior to founding MSC, Sean worked at Morgan Stanley in Investment Banking Product and Securities Sales. Previously, he worked as a Senior Analyst at Sailfish Partners where he oversaw more than $100 million in capital invested in equity and credit securities for this $2.5B multi-strategy hedge fund. He also worked as a Research Analyst at BNY Mellon and a Senior Consultant at Navigant, designing expert witness testimony for mass tort litigation.

Sean volunteers his time as the President and Director of the CFA Society Philadelphia and serves on the Board of Directors of the Global Interdependence Center.

Sean earned a Bachelor’s Degree, Business Administration, Finance, from Villanova University and is a CFA® Charterholder, CFA Institute. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D., Finance, from EDHEC Business School, ranked as one of the top business schools in Europe.

His interests include sailing, triathlon, poker, and blackjack.

Andres Guevara

Associate

Philadelphia, PA

Andres is an Associate at MSC and is responsible for analyzing growth-stage companies to identify and recommend solutions to complex challenges. He also performs financial analysis and creates financial projections to determine optimal operational improvements for client companies. Additionally, he researches processes and implements initiatives to drive the growth of the business development function at Marion Street Capital. Andres serves as an Analyst for Addvia Ventures.

Before joining MSC, Andres was an Academic Research Fellow at Villanova University and worked as a Consumer Staples Analyst for the Haley Large Cap Fund. Andres assisted in performing academic research about the Bullwhip Effect in Supply Chain.

Andres serves as a Board Member at the Villanova University MBA Alumni Association recommending the implementation of initiatives to provide long-term value to alumni at Villanova University.  

Andres earned a Master of Science in Finance, from Villanova University, Villanova, PA and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with majors in Financial Analysis and Business Intelligence and Analytics, from Creighton University, Omaha, NE. Andres is Colombian and grew up in the Dominican Republic.

His interests include guitar, piano, cinematography, travel, behavioral finance, and international relations.

Kevin Eckenrode

Director of DataOps

Philadelphia, PA

Kevin is the Director of DataOps at MSC. As an analytics expert, he utilizes his keen skills in technology and social science to identify patterns and manage data through the design and maintenance of analytic tools that help clients identify trends in finance, visualize market data, enhance operations performance, and make informed decisions. Kevin also conducts primary market research, integrating insights into product-market fit, strategy, and financial projections to raise significant capital for rapid-growth companies.

He has supported clients in researching the competition, designing company strategy, crafting business plans, creating pitch decks, and designing detailed financial models. He also teaches clients how to recruit advisors, design target investor lists, manage the investor funnel, conduct investor outreach, negotiate term sheets, and create investor documents. Further, he works as an Analyst for Addvia Ventures.

Kevin completed a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance and Business Analytics, Dean’s List, from Villanova University.

His interests include skiing, golfing, big data, and startup ecosystems.

Andrew (Drew) Tulchin

Director

Santa Fe, NM

Drew is a Director at MSC and an International Development Finance Consultant with more than 25 years of professional experience. He works with a wide range of clients to identify and develop both national and international growth opportunities.

Prior to joining MSC, Drew worked as Managing Consultant, Social Enterprise Associates (UpSpring) where he supported entrepreneurs of startups and emerging enterprises as well as their investors. He has traveled internationally to more than 40 countries and worked with Native American Indigenous Nations. Recognized six (6) times with the international award “One of the Best for the World” Small Businesses.

Drew is currently President of the New Mexico Angels, group of individual accredited angel investors focused on investing in early-stage companies in the Southwest and cultivating an active investment ecosystem. Drew holds a Masters of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance & Marketing from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA and a Bachelor of Arts in both History and International Relations from Washington University, Cum Laude, in St. Louis, MO.

Eleanor Allen

Executive Consultant (CEO, Catapult for Change PBC)

Denver, CO

As a seasoned CEO, business leader, board member, technical specialist, management consultant, and professional engineer, Eleanor’s career trajectory has been anything but ordinary. She has traveled to, and worked in, over 50 countries and has lived abroad for 12+ years. After more than 10 years as the top executive in three organizations in private and nonprofit sectors, what is most important to Eleanor is to bring all her skills and experience together to help clients succeed by working with them to solve their challenges, supporting them to reach their potential, and launching new ideas with them through her business, Catapult For Change, PBC.

Eleanor spent much of her career in the water/wastewater sector. As CEO of Water For People, she played a key role influencing national utilities, governments and policy makers regarding regulations, laws, standards, and policies for improving water and sanitation access and management around the world. She also serves on several boards, is an award-winning social entrepreneur, and an experienced chief executive with a strong background in building high performing teams.

Eleanor’s prior experience as an engineering consultant includes planning, design, project/program management, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and ultimately running Global and Latin American operations. She worked for municipal, federal, and private-sector clients. Her technical expertise is in water and wastewater treatment, and she has worked on designs for treatment plants all over the world. While Eleanor mostly focused on secondary wastewater treatment, she also has experiences in all steps of the treatment process – from pretreatment to reuse to solids handling.

Her passions include coaching executives and leadership teams, helping companies improve their operations, incorporating personal wellbeing practices into work and daily life, integrating JEDI (justice/equity/diversity/inclusion) into corporate culture, building high-performing multi-cultural teams, and mentoring social change makers and STEM professionals.

Kevin Vrtaric

Before joining MSC, Kevin worked as the Vice President, Business Engineer Lead, at JPMorgan Chase and Associate Director, Data Quality, Strategy & Operations at Standard and Poor’s. He is also the inventor of a patent-pending product and founder of a successful start-up.

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree, Biological Sciences from Villanova University and an Masters of Business Administration, Finance/Supply Chain Management, from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick. He is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt with outstanding analytical ability, significant expertise in leading major project initiatives, excellent presentation and communication skills.
